Blaze Win In Belfast

Coventry Blaze won 5-2 at Belfast Giants on Friday night.

The Giants went ahead on 1.19 with an unassisted Darryl Lloyd goal but the Blaze levelled on 15.36 thanks to Derek Campbell finding the net, assisted by Dunstin Cameron and Shea Guthrie.

The second period belonged to the Blaze with Brad Leeb firing Coventry in front on 30.31, assisted by Greg Leeb and Mike Schutte and a third courtesy of Adam Heinrich, assisted by Jeramie Domish and Greg Leeb.

Brad Leeb made it four on 48,55, assisted by Benn Olson and Derek Campbell and although Belfast pulled one back through Noah Clarke on 52.20, Adam Heinrich wrapped up a fine win when he scored an empty net goal on 58.18, assisted by Greg Leeb and Mike Schutte.
