Blaze Win At Nottingham
Paul Thompson's side were a goal down inside 42 seconds when Brendan Cook fired Nottingham ahead.
It was a lead that was not to last as a powerplay goal from Erik Hjalmarsson on 13.42 levelled the game and then Ben O'Connor had Coventry ahead at the end of the first period when he hit his fifth goal of the season on 15.29.
Another powerplay goal put the Blaze 3-1 up in the second period when Adam Calder scored in the 36th minute.
The final period saw Nottingham draw level. Rumun Ndur netted on 41.05 and four minutes later, Johan Molin hit his 23rd goal of the season.
On 54.56, Brendan Cook had the home fans on their feet when he put the Panthers back in front but enter Sylvain Deschatelets. His first goal came from a power play on 57.08. Marc Levers scored a fifth for Nottingham thirty three seconds later but Deschatelets notched his second of the night as the clock ticked into the 59th minute.
The Blaze travelling suppport were already in raptures and on 59.37, Erik Hjalmarsson hit the winner to send the Coventry support home happy.
Weekend fixtures see The Blaze travelling to Edinburgh Capitals on Saturday. Then on Sunday, they face the Scottish side at the Sky Dome. Face off is at 6pm.
