Blaze Lose To The Panthers

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team were beaten 3-2 by the Nottingham Panthers.

A packed Sky Dome saw Kevin Harvey give Coventry the lead on 19.18, assisted by Shea Guthrie and Ryan Ginand after Robert Farmer had picked up a game ban.

The Panthers responded with a goal from 28.29 from Chris Murray and one from David Clarke on 42.37.

Ashley Tait tied the game at 2-2 on 47.52, assisted by Ginand and Tanaka but with less than four minutes left, Murray scored on the powerplay to send the Blaze to a defeat.
