Coventry Blaze were beaten on penalty shots at Edinburgh Capitals tonight after the match finished 3-3.

Kevin Harvey and Shea Guthrie scored to cancel out goals from Hartmann and Cingel to make it two all at the end of the second period.

Edinburgh went back in front in the third period through Safar but Ryan Ginand levelled to send the game into over-time for a second night in a row.

Five minutes of four on four failed to produce another goal so it went to penalty shots, which the home side won with Jade Portwood scoring the decisive penalty shot.
