Blaze In Double Defeat

Coventry Blaze suffered two defeats in consecutive days losing tonight to Newcastle Vipers.

After suffering their heaviest defeat of the season with top scorer Adam Calder and Curtis Huppe finding the net in a 6-2 defeat at Nottingham Panthers, the Blaze took on Newcastle Vipers at the Sky Dome toight.

Blaze trailed in the first period before Barrie Moore pulled one back. With the Blaze fans unhappy with a very poor referee, Dan Carlson scored in the second period to level the game.

Newcastle scored early in the third, Blaze equalised through top scorer Adam Calder but let in a goal straight away to lose 4-3.
