Blaze Hit For Six In Play-Off Second Leg

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey Team's season is over after they were beaten 6-1 in the second leg of their Play-Off Quarter-Final at the Sheffield Steelers.

The Blaze trailed 3-2 from the first leg and went a goal down in the second leg on 8.24 with a goal from Dustin Kohn.

In the second period, Robert Dowd scored twice on 30.51 and 34.25 with a powerplay goal to make it three with a fourth coming from Maxime Lacroix on 35.16.

Ross Venus scored a consolation goal on 41.52, assisted by Ryan Ginand but the Steelers who will meet Braehead in the semi-final, scored a fifth through Dustin Kohn on 54.09 with a powerplay goal and a sixth from Danny Meyers on 57.13.
