Blaze Hit For Six

Coventry Blaze were beaten 6-2 at home by Nottingham Panthers at the Sky Dome on Saturday night.

On 1.55, The Blaze took the lead through Adam Heinrich, assisted by  Dustin Cameron and Mike Schutte. 

Ten minutes later, Heinrich scored again, this time, assisted by Brad Leeb and Mike Schutte.

Nottingham came back in the second period with a power play goal on 23.26 from Bruce Graham, who followed it with a second a minute later.

Jordan Fox hit a third on 25.34 for the Panthers before the Blaze players took exception with the referee Mr Carson. Adam Heinrich was given a twenty minute game ban plus ten minutes,

Mike Egener got ten minutes for abusing an official when Matt Myers scored a fourth goal on 32.19.

Thirty seconds in to the third period, Graham completed his hat-trick with a powerplay goal and on 43.52, Pat Galivan scored another powerplay goal to complete a miserable night for the Blaze.
