Coventry Blaze were beaten Cardiff Devils 7-3 in Cardiff tonight.
Cardiff took the lead on 3.04 with a Davies powerplay goal but on 8.01, Adam Henrich levelled with an unassisted goal.
Parity lasted for only eleven seconds as Lord netted assisted by Faulkner and Hil and on 9.19, it was 3-1 when Davies scored a second powerplay goal, assisted by (Richardson and M.Myers.
Cardiff scored three times in the second period. Their fourth goal came on 25:21 when Lord scored assisted by Piggott and Quiney and on 26:02, it was 5-1 when Blight found the net with a short handed goal, assisted by M.Myers.
American Ryan Ginand scored a second for the Blaze on 37:16 but it was 6.2 on 39:08 thanks to a goal from Max Birbraer, assisted by M.Myers and Blight.
The goals continued in the final period when Hill scored a seventh for the Devils, assisted by Lord and M.Smith on 57:38 and on 58:54, Ryan Ginand scored a third, from a Ross Venus assist as the Blaze went down to a 7-3 defeat.
