Coventry Blaze beat Dundee Stars 6-2 at the Sky Dome tonight.
The Blaze took the lead on 6.58 with an unassisted Ryan Ginand goal and it was two when Michael Henrick scored on 11.13, assisted by Adam Henrich and Ashley Tait but just before the end of the first period, Dundee pulled one back through Ross Rawlyk on 19.44.
A powerplay goal from Rawlyk on 30.59 tied the game but the Blaze were back in front thanks to Ryan Ginand netting on 33.55, assisted by Kenny Kalstrom and Bryan McMillin and Ashley Tait scoring on 39.34, assisted by Russ Cowley and McMillin.
Ginand completed his hat-trick on 43.27, assisted by Ross Venus and McMillin and a good night was rounded off when Kenny Kallstrom scored a powerplay goal on 55.04, assisted by Cowley and Venus.
