Coventry Blaze beat Edinburgh Capitals 8-2 tonight at the Sky Dome.
The Blaze took a three goal lead by the end of the first period with goals from Cale Tanaka with a short handed goal on 7.52, Adam Henrich on 15.14 and Kelsey Wilson 18.48.
By the end of the second, it was 6-2 with another goal for Adam Henrich on 20.46 with a shorethanded goal and a brace for Ryan Ginand on 21.56 and 25.38 with Zembergs scoring twice for the Capitals on 26.42 and 33.14
In the third period, the Blaze scored twice through Michael Henrich on 49.55 and and Steve Chalmers with a powerplay goal on 59.40 for an 8-2 win.
