Coventry Blaze were beaten 5-4 at home tonight by Cardiff Devils.

After the 4-1 defeat at Cardiff last night, it was all back to the Sky Dome and like last night, The Devils raced into an early four goal lead.

The second period saw a third for Phil Hill on 23.20 and then a fourth, some eighty five seconds later through Stuart McRae.

Coventry finally hit back with a goal from Owen Fussey on 27.43, assisted by Shea Guthrie who set up Dustin Wood for a second goal eight seconds later.

Guthrie turned goalscorer on 37.01 but ten minutes into the third period, Brad Voth hit a fifth for the Devils.

Greg Owen pulled another one back in the final minute, assisted by Matic Kralj and Luke Fulghum but the Blaze went down to a 5-4 defeat.
