Blaze Beaten By Cardiff

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey Team were beaten 6-3 at the Sky Dome on Thursday night by Cardiff Devils.

After beating Cardiff last 4-1, it was all back to the Sky Dome and the South Wales side took the lead on 12.30 through Chris Blight.

Sixty one seconds later, the Blaze levelled through Dustin Cameron, assisted by Matt Beleskey and Mike Schutte but before the end of the first period, Cardiff were back in front through Kenton Smith.

Russ Cowley, equalised once again on 28.42, assisted by Mike Egner and Greg Leeb.

However, Cardiff came out for their third fired up and they were back in front ten seconds in through Ben Davies who scored Cardiff's fourth three minutes later, 

Chris Blight chipped in with a powerplay goal on 46.24 and it was five, 32 seconds later through Jessie Gimblett.

Mike Beleskey hit a third for the Blaze on 56.14, assisted by Greg Leeb but Coventry, tonight, were a well beaten side.
