Blaze Beaten By Belfast

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team lost their last regular season home game on Saturday night.

Visitors Belfast Giants took the lead on 8.00 through Matt Towe but Coventry came back on 21.27 to level through Shea Guthrie, assisted by Derek Campbell and Benn Olson.

Parity lasted just over two minutes as Belfast took the lead through a short handed Kevin Saurette goal and then on 25.56,.Chad Langais scored with a powerplay goal.

On 35.42, Noah Clarke scored an unassisted goal for Belfast's fourth and although Adam Henrich scored a second for the Blaze on 47.33, assisted by Greg Leeb and Brad Leeb, it was not enough to stop a 4-2 defeat.
