Blaze Beaten At Hull

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team were beaten 3-2 tonight at Hull Stingrays.

After their 5-2 win over the Stingrays in Coventry, the Blaze took the lead at The Hull Arena through Shea Guthrie scoring a powerplay goal on 9.50, assisted by Jonathan Weaver and Owen Fussey.

It was another powerplay goal that saw Hull level on 11.47 through Jason Silverthorne and take the lead Jereme Tendler on 24.15.

On 53,36, Jereme Tendler scored a third for Hull, who had been wracking up the penalties and although Woo Sang Park pulled one back for the Blaze in the last minute, it was not enough to stop them from going down to a defeat.

Coventry take on Cardiff Devils on Saturday at The SkyDome. Face Off is at 5.30pm.
