Paul Thompson's side got off to a good start when Luke Fulghum scored a powerplay goal on 13.14, assisted by Jon Weaver and Brian Lee.
In the second period, Hull equalised through Konstantin Kalmikov on 28.32 and three minutes into the third period, they wrapped up the victory with a Lee Mitchell goal.
This defeats means that the Blaze must beat Belfast Giants tomorrow night at the Sky Dome. There is a handful of seats left and some standing for the game which starts at 6pm.
