Blaze Beaten At Cardiff

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey went down to a 3-2 over-time defeat at Cardiff Devils tonight.

Kenton Smith fired Cardiff ahead on 6.15 with a powerplay goal but on 16.01, Matic Kralj levelled, assisted by James Griffen.

Kralj turned provider seven and a half minutes into the second period when Robert Farmer scored on the powerplay, assisted by Kralj and  Dustin Wood.

Unfortunately, the Blaze could not keep their lead and Adam Harding levelled on 49.42 to take the match into over-time.

We had a minute and forty seven seconds of over-time when Stuart Macrae scored to give Cardiff a 3-2 win.
