Coventry Blaze were beaten 3-2 in overtime by the Braehead Clan in Glasgow in a Rapid Solicitors Elite League on Wednesday night.

The Blaze went a goal down through Tristan Harper on 12.12  but on 33.29, they drew level thanks to a goal from Michael Henrich.

However, parity lasted just seventy nine seconds before the Clan were back in front once more with a goal from Ed McGrane

Into the third period and it was all square on 43.53 when Kevin Harvey equalised with a powerplay goal which was enough to send the game into over-time.

Unfortunately, 2.14 and it was Braehead who took the win when Matt Towe scored to see Coventry, who face Cardiff on Saturday at the Sky Dome, leave with a point.
