Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team were beaten 5-0 by Belfast Giants at the Sky Dome tonight.
James Griffen was in the sin bin for tripping when Belfast took the lead on 3.56 through a Craig Peacock powerplay goal.
Nine and a half minutes into the second period, Jeremy Rebek hit a second and this was followed by a third on 30.39 through an unassisted Robert Dowd goal.
On 52.48, Dowd scored his second of the night and a miserable night was completed when Craig Peacock hit a fifth on 57.26.
