Coventry Blaze pulled off a superb 3-1 victory against the Nottingham Panthers,

After the thrashing of Edinburgh last night, the Nottingham Panthers were the next visitors to the Sky Dome.

Nottingham took the lead on 10.32 when Robert Lachowicz scored but nine minutes and fifty seconds in to the second period, the Blaze drew level thanks to a goal from Ryan Ginand, assisted by Adam Henrich and Ashley Tait.

The Panathers had Matt Francis off the ice for twelve minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct and checking to the head and the Blaze made the most of that by taking the lead with Ryan Ginand converting a penalty shot on 38.09.

That was how it stayed until fifty five seconds from time when Michael Henrich scored an unassisted empty net goal to give the Blaze a 3-1 win and a four point weekend.
