Coventry Blaze beat Sheffield Steelers 6-3 in their second Exhibition game of the new season.

At the Sky Dome tonight, Adam Calder opened the scoring in the first minute and then added a second on 9.04.

Sheffield pulled one back through Jeff Legue as the first period ended with the Blaze ahead.



The second period was pretty quiet until Adam Calder complete his hat-trick on 35.53 when he netted assisted by Dan Carlson with Scott Basiuk pulling one back on 44.44.

Into the third period and Coventry made it 4-2 when a bullet from Jon Weaver flew in on 46.34 and eleven seconds later, Basiuk hit his second of the night.

On 55,27, Dan Carlson scored assisted by Adam Calder with Derek Campbell netting on 59.19 to give the Blaze a 6-3 victory.

On Saturday night, the Blaze are away to Cardiff Devils in an Exhibition game. Face off is at 7pm.
