Coventry Bees Speedway Team beat Wolves 52-38 to win the Midland Cup tonight.
Having won the first leg on Friday night at Brandon, the Bees travelled to Monmore Green with Rory Schlein, Stewart Robson and Chris Harris in their team.
Wolves took the opening heat 4-2 but Nick Morris and Aaron Summers rode well to record a 5-1 in heat two.
That was followed up by a win for Nicoli Klindt in a 4-2 for the Bees, a 3-3, a 5-1 for Schlein and Robson and a 3-3 which had The Bees ahead by 22-14 after six heats.
A 4-2 and a 5-1 for Wolves brought the home side back but after two 3-3's, the Bees took charge of heats eleven to fourteen with a 4-2 and three 5-1 wins.
Wolves won the last heat 4-2 but the Bees won the meeting 52-38 and by an aggregate of 109-76.
