Bees Well Beaten At Belle Vue

Coventry Bees Speedway Team were beaten 59-35 at Belle Vue tonight.

Using rider replacement for Michael Szczepaniak, heat one saw Krzysztof Kazprzak win but Arron Summers could not get past Zagar and Ostergaard and it finished in a 3-3.

Kevin Doolan who was guesting for Belle Vue won the second heat in a 4-2 for the home side. The third brought a 5-1, followed by a 4-2 and a 5-1 to see the Bees 21-9 down.

Stuart Robson took the tactical ride in heat six and finished second for a 4-4. Zengota then won heat seven in a 3-3 and this was followed by a 4-2 and two 5-1's with heat ten having to be re-run after Zengota picked up a £100 fine for a second warning for not keeping still at the start.

Kazprzak took another tactical ride with the Bees 42-20 down and finished second for a 5-3.

That was the last heat the Bees would win as a miserable night saw two 3-3's and two 4-2's to give Belle Vue a 59-35 victory.
