Bees To Do The Hokey-Cokey

Coventry Bees Speedway team are to face Peterborough Panthers on Thursday night in the first leg of the Hokey-Cokey Cup.

The Bees held their Press And Practice Day this afternoon at Brandon and unveiled Hans Andersen as the number one and Edward Kennett as captain.

Kennett told BBC Midlands Today's Ian Winter that he was glad everything is now sorted and that the team were raring to go whilst Andersen admitted that it had been a frustrating time for him over the winter and it was difficult to plan but he was pleased that the Bees are back in the Elite League and felt that the Bees had to go for the Play-Offs and then go for the top.

Peterborough: Nicki Pedersen, Linus Sundström, Oliver Allen, Krzysztof Buczkowski, Troy Batchelor, Kacper Gomolski, Craig Cook.
Coventry: Hans Andersen, Richard Sweetman, Ryan Fisher, Kenni Larsen, Edward Kennett, Nick Morris, Przemyslaw Pawlicki.

The second leg is at Brandon on Saturday with tapes up at 7.30pm.
