Last night at Brandon the Bees once again welcomed the Ipswich Witches in an Elite League B match.
Whilst the Bees once again used the rider replacement facility to cover for the injyred Olly Allen, the Witches also had to use this to cover for their main rider Jesper B Jensen.

The Bees began the night as they intended to carry on, firing a maximum 5-1 heat victory - in fact only one Ipswich rider recorded heat wins with Robert Miskowiak crossing the line first in his initial 2 outings, the second of which scored ouble points as the Ipswich team manager tried to quickly pull back the deficit which at the end of heat 5 was 14 points!

In all the Bees recorded 7 maximum 5-1 heat wins and ran out winners by a massive 64 points to 29 margin - a difference that should guarantee the bonus point when the Bees travel to Foxhall next thursday 6th Sept.

With such a high victory margin 4 Bees riders scored over 10 points with Chris Bomber Harris leading the way with 13+1 from 5 rides.

The current league table is shown below following last nights match.

The night before the Elite League riders championship took place at Kings Lynn with Bees riders Scott Nicholls, Bomber Harris and Rory Schlein all taking part - and although he just scraped through into the final Bomber finished up 2nd on the rostrum, behind current Grand Prix leader and 2007 Elite League Riders champion Nicki Pedersen.
