Bees On TV/ Trotty For England

Coventry Bees, who were narrowly beaten 48-42 at Peterborough last night, will be live on Sky Sports on Monday night. The Brandon based Bees are at home to Swindon with a 7.30pm start.

Jon Trott has been called up for England for their one day internationals. The Warwickshire batsman has been in good form with the bat,averaging 41, and has been called up for the squad which will be captained by Paul Collingwood.

Cov kid Ian Bell has also been selected for the games against the West Indies. Whether, he has a future at Warwickshire will be sorted out at a meeting next Friday. Bell was unhappy at being omited from the FP semi-Final on Wednesday and will sit down for face to face talks with Colin Povey.

Warwickshire meanwhile start their 20/20 campaign with a home game against Somerset Sabres this evening. Weather permitting the game at Edgbaston will start at 5.30pm.
