Coventry Bees Challenge Cup meeting at Poole was postponed, thirty minutes before it was due to start.
The riders had problems in the practice laps and work was under-taken on the track which was still recovering from heavy rain earlier in the week.
However, the problems could not be resolved and the meeting was called off.
The Bees are due to be back in action on Friday night at Brandon in a Knock Out Cup Semi-Final against either Birmingham or Belle Vue
