Coventry Bees were beaten again by Swindon tonight at Brandon.

After last night's 50-40 win for the Robins, it was back up to Coventry and The Bees took to the track with Coventry based Rory Schlein riding at number one in place of Emil Sayfutdinov who is racing tomorrow night in the Danish Grand Prix.

With the Bees using rider replacement for Kenny Larsen, Schlein won heat one in a 3-3. Swindon took the second heat 4-2 but a cracking ride from Premzy Pawlicki gave the Bees a 5-1 in the third heat.

Heats four and five finished 3-3. Swindon were on a 4-2 in heat six before Schlein's bike packed up and the visitors took a 5-1.

This meant Swindon now lead 19-17 and two 4-2 in the next two heats extended their lead to six points by heat eight.

Another storming Pawlicki ride for a 5-1 brought the difference down to two points but Scott Nicholls victory in heat 11 after the tenth heat had finished 3-3, took the visitors lead up to four points once more.

The Bees needed to win the heats but three 3-3's and a 4-2 win for Swindon in Heat 15 meant a 42-48 defeat.
