PETERBOROUGH 59-35 COVENTRY BEES

With the unfortunate loss of Bees Ben Barker to injury during the weekends World U21 championship meeting, the Bees used the rider replacement option to cover Ben's programmed rides.

Sadly the home team were too strong for the Bees and on scoring 2 maximum 5-1's and a 4-2 in the first 3 heats the Bees were already 10 points down on the night.

Try as they might to once again stage a fightback the Bees were up against a very strong home team, shown by the fact that throughout the whole meeting only Olly Allen managed a heat win for the Bees, with the Panthers running out comfortable winners on the night by 59 points to 35.

The Bees scorers tonight were:

1. Chris Harris.....................1,2,4!,1 = 8
2. Ben Barker R/R
3. Olly Allen..........................2,1*,2,2,3,2 = 12+1
4. Edward Kennett...............0,2,0,0 = 2
5. Rory Schlein.....................2,4!,2,0,0 = 8
6. Ricky Wells,.....................0,0,0,0,0 = 0
7. Jordan Frampton.............0,1,1*,1*,1*,1 = 5+3

The next meeting for the Bees is this Friday at Brandon and gives the opportunity to respond, as the visitors will be Peterborough.
