Coventry Bees are still without a victory after going down to a 59-32 defeat at Lakeside Hammers tonight.

Heat one produced a three all result but a crash for Josh Auty, who was able to walk back to the pits saw a 5-1 win for the home side in heat two.

Ed Kennett steered the Bees to a 4-2 victory in heat three but Lakeside took the next three heats 4-2 to lead 22-14.

A 4-2 Bees victory followed by heats eight and nine produced 5-1 wins for the Hammers.

Heat ten produced a 4-3 win for The Bees but after the interval, a 4-2 home Lakeside gave them a 41-26 lead.

Sitera replaced by Auty for heat twelve as a 4-2 and then two 5-1 heat wins for Lakeside ensued.

In the final heat, Chris Harris finished second to take his meeting tally to nine but a poor Bees team were well beaten.
