Coventry Bees stuffed Poole Pirates tonight at Wimbourne Road.

The Bees won 63-32 with Chris Harris top scoring with thirteen points, but star of the night was Bees reserve Jordan Frampton who was unbeaten by a Poole rider, recording a paid maximum.

The meeting started well for the Bees with successive 4-2 heat wins in the first 3 heats but heats 4 & 5 saw the Bees really pull away recording two 5-1 maximums.

Heat 6 saw the Pirates team manager nominate Bjarne Pedersen for a double points scoring tactical ride, which he duly obliged but the Bees kept the damage to a minimum by packing the middle order to cede only 3 points.

It seemed as though this worked as an incentive for in the next 2 heats the Bees pulled further away by adding 2 more heat maximums.

the match was effectively won by the end of heat 10 with the scoreline reading Poole 20 Bees 43 with 5 races to go.

The Bees scores on such an impressive showing were:

1. Chris Harris - 1 3 3 3 3 = 13
2. Ben Barker - 3 2* 3 1 = 9+1
3. Oliver Allen - 1 2* 3 3 = 9+1
4. Edward Kennett - 3 3 2* 3 X = 11+1
5. Rory Schlein - 3 2 3 2* = 10+1
6. Ricky Wells - 1 1* 0 0 = 2+1
7. Jordan Frampton - 3 2* 2* 2* = 9+3 (PAID MAXIMUM)

On Firday night, Poole are the visitors to Brandon. Tapes up at 8pm.
