Bees Do The Double Over Peterborough

Coventry Bees Speedway Team did the double over Peterborough Panthers with a 50-40 victory in the second Elite League meeting of the day.

After this lunch-time's 56-37 win for the Bees at Peterborough, it was all back to Brandon.

A reasonably sized crowd saw Krzysztof Kasprzak ride to a 4-2 in the opening heat before a 3-3 and a re-run 5-1 to Peterborough after Zengota had hit the fence and crashed on a track that had to be graded.

A 3-3 in heat four before Grzegorz Zengota rode to give the Bees a 5-1 and put them in front by 16-14.

Kasprzak and Olly Allen took a 5-1 after former Bees rider Kenni Larsen fell down. There were two 3-3's before the Panthers took a 5-1 to reduce the Bees lead to 28-26.

Heat ten was re-run after Kasprzak fell and saw a 5-1 to the Panthers. Scott Nicholls and Arron Summers rode to a 5-1 before a 3-3 in heat twelve.

Nicholls and Kasprzak roared to a 5-1 to see the Bees now six points in front and this was followed by a 3-3 and Nicholls and Kaprrzak riding to 5-1 to give the Bees a 50-40 win and thee points which moves them into sixth place in the table.
