Bees Beaten At Poole

Coventry Bees were beaten 49-41 at Poole in an Elite League meeting

Ryan Fisher took the win in the opening heat to give the Bees a 4.-2 win but after a 3-3, Poole levelled the scores with Maciej Janowski taking the win in a 4-2 heat.

A 3-3 was followed by a 5-1 to Poole and Hans Andersen and Chris Harris came back with a 5-1 in heat six.

Poole went back in front with a 4-2 but in heat eight, Kenneyth Hansen and Fisher took a 5-1 after Przemyslaw Pawlicki fell.

A 3-3, was followed by Poole take three 4-2's to lead 38-34 going in to heat thirteen. Chris Harris and Hans Anderson rode for the Bees but Janowski took the win in a 3-3.

In heat fourteen, Vaclav Milik and Kyle Newman gated. Kyle Howarth chased and chased but Poole took a 5-1 to give them the win.

The Bees needed a 4-2 or 5-1 to take a point from the meeting in the final heat. In the nominated riders race, Andersen and Hansen went for the Bees against Chris Holder and Janowski who had taken maximum points in all off his heats.

Janowski gated and although the Bees rider put up a fight, the heat finished in a 3-3 and the Bees were beaten 49-41.

Coventry are now sixth in the table with five points from four meetings.
