Bees Beaten At Peterborough

Coventry Bees Speedway team were beaten 49-41 at Peterborough tonight.

On a sunny evening and with the Bees having rider replacement for Arron Summers,  Peterborough won the first heat 4-2.

Adam Roynon and Henning Bager won the second heat for a 5-1 to the Bees, but in a re-run heat three that was wiped out when the Panthers won by same score.

Two 3-3's and a 5-1 saw Coventry trail by six points afer six heats but Chris Harris and Larsen reduced that with a 5-1.

Kenni Larsen went over his handlebars in heat eight and went straight into an ambulance, ending his night of action for the Bees. Peterborough won that heat 4-2 and with Larsen and Peterborough's Olly Allen both out of the meeting, the home side did not lose a heat for the rest of the meeting to record an eight point victory.
