Bees Beaten At Kings Lynn

Coventry Bees were beaten 49-41 at Kings Lynn Stars tonight

The Bees had Richie Worrall guesting for this Elite League fixture and were 4-2 down in the first heat.

However, Michal Szczepaniak gated well along with Worrall and the Bees were back with a 5-1 in the second.

Grzegorz Zengota fell in heat three and this allowed the Aces to take a 5-1 heat win which was followed by a win for former Bees rider Rory Schlein winning for a 4-2.

Krzysztof Kasprzak won heat five with a 4-2 but a 4-2 for the Aces in the next heat meant that they were 20-16 up after six heats.

Heat seven produced a 4-2 win for Zengota and it sparked a fight back as after a 3-3, Scott Nicholls and Worrall rode to a 5-1 in a twice re-run heat nine to give The Bees the lead by two points. 

Heat ten was a 3-3 but in heat eleven, the Aces were back in front with a 5-1 after Alden gated and Schlen took second place on the third bend.

Alden took a replacement ride in heat twelve and won for a 4-2.which was followed by a 3-3.

Needing two wins, Worrell had go off 15 metres after touching the tape. The Aces gated and took a 5-1 win to put eight points between them and the Bees whose fourth defeat of the season was confirmed with a 3-3 in the final heat which brought a 49-41 defeat.
