Bees Beat Wolves

Coventry Bees beat Wolves 48-42 tonight

At Brandon in a meeting which started late due to traffic problems which had plaqued Coventry for most of the day, The Bees, who had Simon Lambert guesting, took a 3-3 in the opening heat.

Lambert and James Sarjeant took a 4-2 in the second heat which was followed by Chris Harris and Kenneth Hansen gating for a 5-1.

Kyle Howarth nipped in to prevent a 5-1 to Wolves before Hans Andersen and Chris Harris had an easy win in heat five.

Three 3-3's followed with Kyle Howarth having to be withdrawn with a hand injury after crashing in his third ride of the meeting.

A 5-1 to Wolves in heat nine reduced the Bees lead to four points and in heat ten that was wiped out with the visitors to Brandon taking another 5-1 to make it 30-30.

Kenneth Hansen beat Tai Woffinden in heat eleven to give the Bees a 4-2 and after a 3-3, Andersen and Harris took a 5-1 to see the Bees now leading by six points with two heats remaining.

Wolves took a 4-2 and in a re-run final heat, Chris Harris won with Hansen in third for a 4-2 and 48-42 win for Coventry Bees.
