Bedworth United Relegated

Bedworth United were relegated back to the Southern League Central Division despite a 2-0 victory over AFC Totton.

Former Coventry City youngster Tom Bates opened the scoring for the Greenbacks in the tenth minute at The Oval and Tom Lorraine added a second in the 36th minute but it was not enough to stop Bedworth from being relegated with 42 points.

Southern League Premier Division Champions Leamington finished their campaign with a 2-1 win over St Albans at the New Windmill.

Dodd scored a 40th minute penalty for The Brakes before Johnston added a second in front of a crowd of 1027. In the final minute, City pulled one back through Ngoyi but it was not enough to stop the celebrations.

Rugby Town are in the Southern League Central Division Play-Offs after finishing in second place behind champions Burnham Town.

Rugby won 3-0 at Chalfont St Peter with goals from Gaskin 13, Koriya 55 and David Kolodynski in the 90th minute.

In the Midland Alliance, Champions Stratford Town were beaten 2-1 at Gornal.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood were beaten 2-0 at home by Walsall Wood, Nuneaton Griff lost 4-1 at home to Brocton but Southam United beat Pershore Town 5-1.

In the Midland Combination Division Two, Coventry Spires won the derby with a 3-0 victory at Coventry Spartans and Leamington Hibernian drew 0-0 with Perrywood.
