Bedworth United Chairman Steps Down

Bedworth United have issued the following statement concering their Chairman Pete Randle.

Peter will remain as an executive board director and will continue to serve the club in the same conscientious way that he has always done.

Peter has worked tirelessly for Bedworth United for over 60 years. He has steered the club through some of the most turbulent times, stepping in and rescuing the club in 1997 when the club was close to folding. Over the next 10 years, as Chairman he turned the fortunes of the club around. His second spell as Chairman from 2010 until the present has seen the club develop into a solid stable position with a brighter future.

As from 19th June 2014, Vice chairman Neill Rayson-Randle will take over the role as Club Chairman with Dr Phil Earle appointed Vice Chairman.

The board of directors’ wish to thank Peter for the tremendous contributions in effort and time he has given to the football club as its chairman and know that he will continue to do so in the future as a member of the executive board.
