Bedworth United were knocked out of the Birmingham Senior Cup after going down to Tamworth in a 2-1 defeat.
Marcus Law, who has managed at Bedworth United, sent a strong team to The Oval. They were without the suspended Paul Green, Fran Francis and former Coventry City youngster Luke Bottomer but included former Sky Blues Iysden Christie and Conor Gudger for this game which was brought forward so that Green and Francis could play against Everton in the FA Cup on January 7th.
Kieron St.Aimie puts the Lambs in front in the fifth minute and in the 32st minute, Shariff hit the second, finishing off a St Aimie pass.
Bedworth pulled one back in the second half but it was Tamworth who booked their place in the next round which sees a trip to Nuneaton Town.
