Bedworth Confirm Farmer Departure

Bedworth United have confirmed the departure of Manager Steve Farmer.

Bedworth have released the following statement: 

"The Board of Directors of Bedworth United Football Club wish to confirm that following a meeting with team manager Steve Farmer on Thursday it was agreed that in the best interests of the club that both parties pursue a fresh start.

 "Both parties feel it is an ideal time for a fresh face to come in with his own ideas to try to recreate the success the club enjoyed in winning promotion at the end of the 2011-12 season.

 "The Board would like to place on record their gratitude and appreciation to Steve on his work for the club during the past two seasons and wish him well for the future.

 "Steve Farmer wishes to thank the Board for giving him the opportunity as well as their ongoing support he has received during his time at the club.

 "He also thanks the players and loyal supporters who made the last two seasons so very special, and wishes the club every success in the future.

 "An announcement will be made in the near future regarding appointing a successor."
