Coventry City supporter Steve Beaton is out of the PDC Ladbrokes World Championship with a first round defeat.
Beaton, who lives in Southam, took on South African Devon Petersen on the fourth day of the annual tournament at Alexandra Palace.
Unfortunately, Beaton went down to a 3-1 defeat despite taking the first set against Petersen who will face Pipe or Monk in the next round.
