Beaton, who knocked Phil The Power Taylor out in the Quarter-Finals, took on Scotty "2 Hot" Waites from Yorkshire and lost some crucial legs to go down to a 16-9 defeat.
Waites will now take on the winner of the Jones V Wade semi-final.
