Coventry Bears Rugby League team have their hopes of a play-off place very much alive with a great 38-20 win at Derby.

Chamunokara (2), Robinson, Wesley, Montague, Whitehouse and Massey scored tries with five conversions for Tilsley.

Coach Alan Robinson said to his club's website after the game: "Our defence was excellent today, we need to work on our discipline but overall it was a good display.

"Dean Thompson playing at hooker gave a Man of the Match performance, he was involved with everything and with his ability as a back he is a must for the team sheet next week."

Next Saturday, they face a very difficult game against Leicester at Old Coventrians. Kick off against former Coach Ty Watson's side is at 1pm.
