Coventry Bears Rugby League team will meet Lymm Wolves RL in the Cooperative Rugby League Conference Harry Jepson Trophy Semi Final.

The game will take place on Sunday the 6th of September at the Mount St Mary's College near Sheffield, which is the home of the North Derbyshire Chargers.

The game is scheduled for a 2.30 kick off.

Bears coach Alan Robinson knows his opposite number Paul Flannery from their Ireland days and told his club's website: " This should be a cracking game, Lymm are also coached by Anthony Sullivan the former St Helen's and Wales legend and will be a well drilled and disiplined side.

I have spoken to my mate Paul Flannery and he isnt giving anything away but I know he wont take us lightly. We have come on leaps and bounds since the start of the season and this team has the potential to be as good as any Bears team in the past.

The older established players like Matt Allsopp and Ben Powis are performing better then ever and with the addition of one or two new experienced faces such as Brad Massey and Ali Marshall we have the experience in key positions. Add to this the way some of the younger guys are playing it bodes well for the future. Ben Hands was on top form last week, Nathan Tilsley is another player who despite his lack of years has responded magnificently to being "thrown in the deep end" The flair being shown out wide by the likes of Chamunokara, Thompson and Montague has really added an edge to our attack that should trouble anyone.

"This is the sort of game we need to be playing and I will be telling the players to relish the occassion"
