Coventry Bears Rugby League team will miss out on the NCL Grand Final after a 36-18 defeat at Huddersfield Underbank.
Coventry had taken a good following with them but they saw the home side score first with a converted try.
Hamish Locke pulled one back but in the 22nd minute, Huddersfield doubled their points tally before pushing on lead 26-4 at the break.
Huddersfeld scored shortly after the restart before Locke scored his second try and after Huddersfield had scored again, Locke got his hat-trick.
Locke followed that up with a fourth try late on but it was not enough and Coventry missed out.
