Austrey Rangers were beaten in the first pre-season game of the 2014/2015 season.
Austrey from the Midland Football League, took on Mickleover Sports Development team at the Pavilion in Newton Lane in Austrey and played their part in a first of three periods which failed to produce a goal.
The second period was more lively with Mickleover scoring against the run of play but Austrey, who have a CV9 postcode, came back with a header from a free kick and then both sides scored again.
In the third period, Mickleover scored once to take a 3-2 win
