Another Grand Prix Semi-Final For Harris

Coventry Bees rider Chris Harris picked up nine points in the Scandinavian Speedway Grand Prix in Sweden last night.

Harris was third in Heat 3, second in Heat 7, second in Heat 9, third in Heat 14 and won Heat 20 to make the first semi-final.

However, in the first semi-final, he was up against Tomaz Gollob, Jason Crump and Jaroslaw Hampel and trailed home fourth as the Pole Gollob and Australia's Crump book their place in the final.

Gollob went into the final as favourite but only finished third beaten by winner Rune Holta with Crump second.

Chris Harris is 12th in the Championship standing with 51 points. Gollob leads the way with 107 points. The next Grand Prix is in Gorica on August 28th.
