Coventry's Cal Crutchlow crashed out of the Czech Moto GP in Brno this afternoon.

The Yahama rider had qualified in eleventh place but with sixteen laps to go, Crutchlow was forced to ditch his bike in the gravel and could not get restarted to get back in the race.

Casey Stoner won the race in a time of 43.16.796, some 6.5 seconds ahead of second placed Andrea Dovizioso.

After the race, Crutchlow tweeted: "Seems like this is a typical day for me …! It needs to change. Test tomorrow try work some things out.

"I'm sorry to everyone putting in so much time and effort …, I am trying that's all I can do. I hope from here onwards and upwards."
