Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team drew 3-3 with Cardiff Devils at the Sky Dome tonight in the first Quarter-Final play-off.

At the Sky Dome which was decked out in blue for the Blaze players who wore their blue shirts, Scott Dobben fired Cardiff ahead with a short handed goal on 3.14.

There was only one goal in the second period and it went Coventry's way when Peter Nylander scored on 25.22, assisted by Jonathan Weaver and Jerramie Domish.

Four minutes and seven seconds going into the third, the Blaze fans went mental when Owen Fussey fired home a third for Coventry, assisted by Shea Guthrie.
