Former Specials Bassist Sir Gentleman Horace Panter tonight released his book Ska'd For Life at the Herbert Art Galley in Coventry.

The book, available from Waterstone plus another of other outlets including Amazon on line. chronicles his role in the iconic band The Specials in a barmy period when Coventry was the place to be as well as his life and the people he met.

The evening was a mix of old and new. Present were Ray King,Lynval Golding, Roger Lomas, Noel Davies from the Selector,Kevin Wilson form The Urge as well as members of current Coventry bands Special Brew,The Cripps and The Enemy.
