6-1 Away Win For Nuneaton

Nuneaton Town won 6-1 at Colwyn Bay this afternoon.

Goals from Danny Glover and Andy Brown had Kevin Wilkin's side two goals up after only seven minutes.

Former Coventry City youngster Mark Noon made it three before Glover completed his hat-trick to see Nuneaton five goals up at the break.

Glover hit his fourth in the 66th minute and although the Welsh side scored in stoppage time, Nuneaton had a very decent win.

Leamington FC were beaten at Southern League Premier Division leaders Brackley 3-0.

Former Coventry City youngster Tom Bates scored twice as Bedworth United beat Ashford Town (Middlesex) 4-2 at The Oval. Bitmead had put the visitors ahead in the 11th minute before Bates levelled in the 33rd.

Bannister scored in the 39th minute to put the Greenbacks ahead before a minute in to the second half, parity was restored when Bitmead found the net again.

in the 62nd minute, Spencer restored Bedworth's lead and with eight minutes left, a goal from Bates wrapped up a fine win.

Rugby Town lost 3-1 at Bedfont Town. Their goal came from Blythe in first half stoppage time.

In the Midland Alliance, Coventry Sphinx stay top with a 1-0 win over Alvechurch whilst Stratford lost 2-0 at home to second placed Westfields

In the Les James Challenge Cup, Nuneatonn Griff beat Pershore Town 1-0.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood won 3-1 at Brocton. Racing Club Warwick won 2-1 at Brocton but Southam lost 4-3 at Bloxwich United.

In Division One, Alvis beat Droitwich Spa 4-1 and in Division Two, Coventry Spartans lost 3-2 at Henley Forest.
